All internal ribs, brackets and hardware are finished. These pieces will be installed after the panels are welded together, ship in a bottle style. Check the seam fit, of you can see it. This is not welded yet.

Nice work Mike. That is a fine looking wheel in the background.
![]() BTW, that is serial #0001 of Imperial Wheeling Machine Model 26F.

I'm impressed with the organization and the clean floor. (Roush mentality???)

Kerry. I'm a proud owner of the first edition, numero uno! It's a very capable and predictable machine to use. I've had a chance to use some of the new upgrades and I really like them. It now wheels more like a cast machine but with a larger adjustment range. I've used at least a dozen wheels, including several cast machines and can say the Imperial 26f ranks very high.
Will, I hired a maid and a staging crew to setup the scene. ![]()

Not everything goes as planned! I welded the leading edge seam on my wing and blow a hole. Darn it! Fixed the hole ok, but had a blob of excess filler on the inside that needed to be ground down. That makes planishing smoother.
So now I had get my die grinder inside the wing. Here's my solution, an extension for the grinder complete with valve to control rpm, since the lever had to taped.

The shape of my other air extraction is finalized. I transfered the shape to a sheet of plywood that serves as the inside model. From there I bent a narrow piece of aluminum several inches longer than the perimeter of the opening. Next came the stretching of the flange corners. That sharp corner was a lot of work.
