The base is made from any flexible material; in my case, 4mm PVC sheet and the adjustable slots are made from modified cabinet stays. Naturally, the pop rivets in the PVC flexi-strip are countersunk.

I use it on all sorts of projects including finding the profile of any curve to be replicated in metal shaping.

Manny, forgot to ask, the flexible contour gauge in the picture - what length is that ? looks to be around 36" ? thanks

Shane, the length is just shy of 50" - 1260mm. Make it as long or as short as you like

They sell the adjustable ones at woodworker supply stores or you can buy them online.
