I was able to get a few hits from this list at https://www.archive.org
https://archive.org/details/metalworkenamell00mary https://archive.org/details/weldershandbook00finc https://archive.org/details/weldershandbookc00finc This website has everything historic that people have taken the time to scan. Search until your heart's content. It contains all of the lost arts but searching can be troublesome. Do take the time to play around with the advanced searching or you will be overwhelmed.

When I was living in Northern Utah I took a Metal fabrication class from Criss Boggess at the college. I was a senior and a resident the cost was $ 100 and $ 100 to bring in a car or build space in the shop. Regular students cost was about $ 1000 per semester. A lot of Criss's work is in Tex Smith's books. and Criss has a couple You tube video;s of his Wiily builds

I attended this class over the weekend. #chopclasswithjoeldavis.
20190426_182754.jpg 20190428_155609.jpg Joel has chopped various cars over the years. He teaches a step by step method to help you avoid disaster and how to fix it if you make a mistake. He has a keen eye for style and proportion and he's a joy to be around. I highly recommend this class even if you never intend to chop a car. Seeing it done and participating in the process might just change your mind. You can find him at davishausofstyle.com
