The pope of welding (his screen name) has spoken with eloquence.

After all this crap hit the fan this morning, we did this email:

Quote:
Jesse, I know you have a passion for shaping metal. So do we. The rules
we have are to keep the spammers, sockf***kers, and mall ninjas off the
site. We're not the HAMB. We are owned by 5 guys who pay all the bills
just so we have a place we can talk about ALL METAL SHAPING.

We really don't have many rules. We want an introduction with a real name
and location. We don't allow fighting, flaming, or profanity on the
board.

If you want to try again with a real introduction, I'll un-ban you.

regards,
The asshole.
To which he responded this afternoon:

Quote:
F**k You. I will never conform
Such a fine fellow...

Well we tried and we'll just have to muddle along without him. It is a shame, he certainly has skills but we have quite a few members also with mad skills but without the attitude.

Thanks for everyone's support.

To all of Jesse's fans who joined today, welcome. We hope you become a contributing member of the community. Look around, use the search function, ask questions, post photos of your work, etc. Play nice and we'll be glad to have you as part of the community. Stir the pot and you, like anyone else, will be gone.

I wondered why there were so many new introductions today. this site is excellent. I wish the experienced guys would post more of their work just because I have come to realize how much can be learned just from looking at a work sequence. less show off of what you did and more show off of how you did it!

Default My 2 cents..

I have been following and sometimes posting on this site since Terry Cowan passed away. He ran a real tight ship and required ID. Many of us remember Terry Cowan and this sit is run much like his. I respect those who run it and pay for it. Thnak You, Fred26t

Default A good call

I am a guest in this house. As such, I am expected to behave in a particular manner. I would expect nothing less of anyone visiting my home. To those of you who contribute without expecting anything in return, I say thank you.

Default Thank you for sticking to the RULES!

I agree with this websites rules, everymember that is on here so real love for the shaping of metal, they are willing to share ideas, they do not ridicule other members that might not have the skills the older more advanced members may have and everyone here is willing to share with others and thats what makes this WEBSITE a great place to come to

Thank You
John E.
