Default New to the board, Hello from Downers Grove, IL

Hey all, great board. Been lurking here for a while. I have been working with metal for about 14 years. I have kinda a neat background with it. I started off in 1998 by moving from Chicago to Charlotte NC, to pursue a career as a fabricator in NASCAR. I worked in the metal shaping/chassis shop for 5 years and then to the 24/48 shop of Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson.

The metal shaping shop there was awesome, and I was trained on the big yoder hammers, watervliet, pullmax, and all sorts of other machines.

Well to make a long story short, I have moved back to Chicago and I am working at a custom car shop here. So far, I have worked on several Ferrari's and a couple other cool projects.

Love the board, keep up the good work.

Billy
