Default Another airplane guy

I am restoring an old (1940) airplane and I need to shape metal cowlings and wheel pants. I started as a complete novice at metal working and have self-taught myself to make cowlings and wheel pants using an E-wheel , gas and TIG welding. I live on an airpark (8T8) in San Antonio. I work in a 50 X 60 hanger with a nice 50 X 20 enclosed workshop built in the rear.

We would love to see some pictures of your work.

As a guy with 1939, a 1940, and a 1946 airplanes in various states of disrepair, I'm very interested in what you have and what you're doing.
