Default Hello from South Georgia

Hey y'all! Grant here from Thomasville GA, I grew up around wood and metal construction, helping dad with whatever I could. I'm 37 now and I'm rehabbing a 60x80ft shop that's pretty well equipped once everything is running. Ill be building furniture, knives and tools primarily plus whatever odd jobs show up.
What led me here was a thread about a pexto 241 shear which I need to make a base for (and I question whether my blade is damaged). This will be a great resource for me though as I love (and have a lot of) old machinery but need to make some covers and guards. Outside of some basic auto body work I haven't made curvy pieces yet but I do have an English wheel (came with my building) to try out!
Thanks for having me!
