Beautiful finished product.
Interesting shrinker stretcher there too. Does it give you enough leverage? How difficult is it to register a unique chassis like that where you are? Here it would be a nightmare. I chose a chassis that has already been through the process so it will save me around $5000 in engineering tests.

Nick, I watched your thread with breaks. It is beautiful. It's a pleasure to watch. I would love to do such things. I live in but in a hemisphere where paper and stamp have more weight than steel ...
Really beautiful.

The shrinker/stretcher works great. More than enough lever using the foot pedals to operate the unit. A Triumph TR7 donated the pedals Custom cars and hot rods need to have a full safety inspection performed and pass before being allowed on the road.. Thank you again Sir!

Thank you gents. It's unfortunate that so many lost their thread photos to the 'PB' photo hosting shenanigans. That's one of the reasons that I decided to start a YouTube channel. R2 is actually coming back to the shop for an interior upgrade soon. New design and need to figure out why the landau top adhesive let go from the epoxied metal surfaces. Stay tuned!

Then we have modification plates which are required for any mechanical deviation from the standard design. Then we have ICV (Individually Constructed Vehicle) rules which apply to people like me who are making a vehicle from scratch. These are painful and involve a whole swag of engineering tests. I will be so relieved once I get past all that.....in about 20 years LOL.
