Default New from Alabama

I’m an upholsterer by trade but got my first taste of sheet metal work trying to put together some basic armor kit for SCA combat. I moved on to taking up my current trade but have come back to an interest in shaping metal in making different “portfolio” pieces like cafe racer seats to bomber seats to maybe even automotive and aerospace-inspired barrel chairs.

Small things first. But I saw a reference to this forum on a Kustoms by Kent website detailing an English Wheel built from a large C clamp and it occurred to me there may be work-arounds to having massive bits of expensive tools to work the small projects I want to complete
