Default chicago pneumatic plannishing hammers for sale

36" chicago pneumatic plannishing hammer.I have about a half dozen original dies as well as a full set of dies from clay cook.A tag on the machine says it came from Douglas Aircraft Co. and under the date section it says 48 (1948) the hammer mechanism is much newer and works perfectly.$8,600 o.b.o. I also have a 12" CP hammer that was the last hammer to come out of California Metal Shaping. also works perfectly. $3,800 o.b.o. Contact Steve (928)450-5687

How about a closer, well lit photo of the power head of the 36" hammer ? Something different (non Chicago Pneumatic) is going on there for sure ~ John Buchtenkirch

Please explain what your talking about..I bought this machine back in 1991 and it has been very functional and usefull through the years.I have used a proline 36" plannishing hammer and you can tell the difference in how solid the hit feels.(noticably heavier casting)it is very adjustable in how hard it hits.you can dial the air pressure down to where it barely hits all the way up to being able to do stretching.I have used it to shape as well as plannish.i am retired now and rarely use it but im still undecided on whether i want to sell it.this hammer was restored in 1990 before any reproduction parts were available.so i know all the parts used were original chicago pneumatic.they dont wear out just need cleaning and lubricating to work like new.
