Great starting price on a desirable machine. However, the seller only has three feedbacks, all of them in the last month, and all of them for purchases, not sales. Eyeball and touch it before you give cash. Cast iron e-wheels DO crack.

I could in April but that's probably too long away to be useful, but if you can convince the seller to wait then maybe an option for you. I'm spending a week at MPH motor panels in north Cornwall so wouldn't be that much of a detour considering I'm driving down from Aberdeen in Scotland.

That's an interesting machine, it's identical to mine except it has a foot adjuster too. Guess thats a home made add on/adapted from another wheeling machine?

My friend has the same wheel here incalifornia..lucky enough to have found it locally for 4500 dollars on craigslist.

I am about 6 miles from Axbridge. If you like I will contact the seller and go and have a look at it.
I am not a expert wheeler but I have an Edwards wheel here a mate paid £200 for a couple of years ago. We put new bearings in it and found the main shaft is bent, the bottom adjuster was rusted solid so we made a new screw for it after having to beat it apart it still needs the shaft sorting out and the top wheel re-plating or replacing.
Having said all that they are not complicated machines so I will go and have a look.
