New member - upstate NY - VW restorations mostly
Howdy folks,
Names Pete from upstate NY. I'm an engineer and manager for a capacitor company by day and spend all my free time restoring vintage VW's and building vw engines and suspension parts (been doing this for 15 years or so now). I have a modest two bay shop (that will be expanding this summer) and pretty much love all that is metal. Always looking to improve my skills and the last year I've been working heavily on fillerless repairs. Currently restoring a 69 baywindow vw bus which I will be converting to a subaru water cooled lump. I'll try to throw some pictures up when I get home. Cheers!

Welcome to the forum Pete. I have a friend who is probably one of the best known VW guys in the UK www.thepaintbox.co.uk
I taught him and his business partner how to shape metal many years ago. David
