Default Motor carriage MBxd2-215

Train lovers rebuild a locomotive from the 1980s, Romanian production.

I stamped the front panels. 2mm thick sheet metal.
I came up with a tool and made a test on a piece of sheet metal using a die from another project.

Dies were cut out. 8mm thick. I have added an OSB top guide.

Good test Witold. I think you will have to hurry with the restoration. Look at the picture, there's a bird of prey flying there. Vulture - iron eater - scrap metal agent? My hands hurt when I see those areas.

I am not going to rebuild this wagon. There are guys who work all week in their offices and take weekends off from their wives and repair trains as volunteers. Real enthusiasts of the narrow-gauge railway.

The panels were bent on the CNC and they came back to me to weld in quarter round corners.
