Welcome Carl. I have been working on a handbuilt Indy inspired roadster for the last few years. It is almost done and has been a great project for me. I hosta metalshapers event here in Michigan but canceled it this spring due to a lack of interest. Hope you learn much and enjoy your new found skills to the fullest.

Introduction
Thanks so much for the welcome. I have to finish my '37 LaSalle, now being painted..have to put the body on, wire it and get it running. Then I have planned a sculpture of a violin-maker building a violin, should take six months..and then it's on to the longest road yet, learning how to shrink, stretch and coax aluminum into to beautiful shapes I've admired for years. Since I am moving into a new 40' x 30' shop, I'm making plans for next year and will go out and get myself a good stump first, and it'll really be a challenge for me to make (a gas tank for my Vincent) my first shapes.
Hope to see your roadster sometime. So far everyone has been very welcoming, and that's a real plus. There are a couple of different kinds of journeymen, those who teach and those who criticize. Seems like there's a lot of teachers in this group. Thanks again.
