Invention is a combination of brains and materials.
The more brains you use, the less materials you need.

Default Congrats on start up Jack.

Great vison, great excution Jack. Though anyone can look at the beauty of it, it takes someone who has done such work to really understand the magnitude of the accomplishment. Well done and congrats.

Best,
Kelly

I am going to miss Jack and Marcus when their projects are finished. Or maybe these projects are never finished and we will get ongoing updates when they are on the road.

Nobody says you can't review them more than once!

My favorite High School teacher used to advise that if you REALLY want to understand something, you have to read it 11 times.

Since you do not have the same tool/equipment inventory and different experience base, reviewing it more than once starts the "what if" computer going and the learning curve will sometimes go exponential.

Thumbs up Take a bow!

I'm not a prolific post writer, nor frequent contributor to the forum. I did join about the time you started this thread and it has always kept me coming back for more. Your devotion to the vision is admirable and I want to thank you for a sharing the journey. Once you get the bugs worked out ( surprisingly few) you are going to kill it on the show circuit!

I've been getting a lot of miscellaneous odds and ends buttoned up. All my fluids are topped off, brakes are bled, I got a new battery and installed it so I could finish the trunk upholstery, I got one door latch and window regulator operating. I still need to do the driver's side. I have an air bag code that I'll need deleted. I removed the side curtain air bags and replaced them with resistors, but I don't think that's the problem. When the CTS was hit, no bags were deployed but the seat belt pretensioners lit off. This will set a permanent trouble code in the SRS control module. Also, since I replaced the tire pressure monitor sensors, I'll need to reprogram the system to recognize the new sending units. I have a couple more issues that need attention but I'll hold off on calling Matt until I know my list is complete.
I got the trunk upholstery installed so that's finished.

Next I started converting the driver's side interior trim panel to fit the 49 door. I did the passenger side a while back then got busy with something else and never got back to do the driver's side. Then I had to wait for months to get material. Anyway, I forgot just how much modification it took to get these trim panels to fit the 49.

I'm making progress. I just need to finish the area where it fits up to the dashboard.

Yes. I knock one off the list and find three more.
