Default Greetings from SC

Hello all,

I'm joining the forum for various reasons but what principally brought me here was a desire to fabricate more equipment of my own and it appeared there's an abundance of info on the likes of english wheels, shears, breaks, etc. I have a difficult time justifying the costs of some pieces of equipment when I know time and metal all are the resources needed for some of the more basic types(of course I've slowly acquired a small array of fabrication tools I can't fabricate like a dynasty 200dx, miller 252, hypertherm 30 air, victor oxyacetylene torch with scorpion EZ Cut track, old scotchman cold saw converted to single phase, atlas mill(project), small bandsaw to name a few.) And what can't be built you can purchase like anvils/fittings/hydraulic cylinders and pumps. I'm looking to expand into more sheetmetal working equipment and would like to build more shapes, bends and curves in panels as well as bending tubing. I live in South Carolina currently and have enjoyed any number of fabrication projects-- from rebuilding flat beds, car/truck exhausts, bumpers to furniture, and currently working on a propane forge for knife/tool making. My fabrication interests are mainly hobby based at the moment. I'm self-taught but I've provided services for others as well and attended courses on welding/machining/fabrication. I look forward to being a part of your community and learning as well as sharing my own projects, tips, and tricks that hopefully will help you all in addition to myself so that we can grow together in our understanding of all things metal.
thanks

Damian, You're living near a lot of great sheet metal talent, including "Rock Hill" Will Cronkrite. Welcome to the forum. Pictures of what you're working on are always appreciated.
