Brilliant map of your progress, just read the post on the toe board, that looks factory. Excellent work. Did you machine the lower anvil to suit and did you need to prestretch the sheet before forming the swage patern?

Many thanks Rick, Ian, Keith and Kerry good to get favourable comments from guys of your calibre, it means a lot.

Ian the anvil was the closes I had in stock, I picked up an assorted lot off flebay a while back, I started to pre-stretch on the first swage but it caused more problem with distortion. After manipulating the sheet back to flat, I went for 'wheeling in the groove' and I think because it was trapped most of the stretch took place within the depressions. I used a parallel lower to finally flatten out before putting the other details in.

Thanks Phil, just a few more bits to do that are chasing my tail than after priming the body will go under wraps while I sort the mechanics, possibly 100 loose ends on the wiring that were put in new 15 yrs ago with marked-up masking tape that has faded, A to A, B to B no such luck.
