Default Introductions

Greetings My name is Rey and I live in Oxnard Calif. I am new to metal shaping and have a 1967 Chevy C10 and a 1963 Nova II Station wagon that I want to restore. I am curious about metal art for indoor and outdoor settings. Hope to learn more about automotive and architectural applications I will need for my projects. I want to share and learn others workflow and the tools they use. I was inspired back in the 70's metal shop classes we had to take in 8th grade and high school. We were taught welding, metal bumping, aluminum casting it was the best. Later jumping to college there was no real course offerings for that sort of training. That got me a 35yr career in TV. Now I want to learn these skills and tool up to enjoy the craft.
