Default Hello from Kansas City

My name is Russ and I have been lurking for a long time.Sheet metal fab is one of my favorite subjects and this site has been a very good source of information. We started gathering tools and information about 10 years ago and my dad worked in the aircraft industry, which has been helpful.

Had a great time with you and your son this weekend at the Rt.56 gig . Makes me envy the time you spend with your son as my dad and I didnt have something like this for us to do things together . Looks like we might get you back up here again for more fun .

Default Nicer to meet you

Hi Russ

Nice to meet you and your Son Issac. I agree with others it is great to see you workiing with your son on a project, and a Willys no less. Really like to see Kids that are interested in cars & mechanical things.

Hope you can both make up to another meet.

Steve

We had a great time at Dans(thank you Dan and Lau)and the people were the best part. We will return with one of the front fenders in the spring and look foreward to seeing everyone again. Isaac has about 8 years before he has to use the Willys for trasportation,so we have made a loose schedule of milestones needed to accomplish this. These meets give us the chance to use equipment and guidence not usually available to us in a no pressure setting that we enjoy.
