Default Hello from a beginner in Australia

Hi All, I am just starting the full restoration of a 1960 VW 11 Window Bus. This is the first attempt at body and chassis restoration, so i am very much a beginner and looking forward to asking questions and receiving advice form those more knowledgeable and experienced!

Welcome to the forum, Gary.

We had some VW campers, almost restored a 71 but it needed a lot more than we ended up doing. Good luck with your 11 window. Keep us posted.

welcome gary!

cool bus, looks pretty solid, should be a nice build. it was a toss up between a split crew cab or a 356 for me, the porker won but i do love an early bus

Invention is a combination of brains and materials.
The more brains you use, the less materials you need.

Welcome Gary. From the photos you must be up in the top end somewhere not in freezing Melbourne!
You will learn plenty here
