Sure looks like they've hung it up. I assumed that their son's would take over the business. Joe Andrews had told me that he had been making anvils for them.

Their site sold NOTHING for a couple of days. Said only that they were retiring. I panicked because I've been dithering over a benchtop wheel or benchtop kit for months.
Now it's back up again, oddly, as before but for the REMAINING EQUIPMENT button in the left menu.

"Actually when we retired, Mike Mittler from Mittler Bros said he would continue to manufacture our English Wheels and Power Hammer. So call Jason Besselman at Mittler Bros (800) 467-2464 and he can process your order." Yay! Mittler Bros sound familiar. So I trust everything stays the same (made in USA, small co. quality), only the names have changed.

Good Company
Mittler Brothers makes some very nice stuff as well. Metalcraft tools will be well represented in the future. I have been using Mittler Brothers stuff from way back when I built race cars and visited their shop on my way back and forth from South Carolina to Nebraska when buying some Model A parts. I bought a motorized bead roller and while I was there and inquired as you their willingness to make me a special set of rollers for a drip rail project I was working on. They were willing to do the building if I supplied the drawing. They got cool stuff.
