Default Hello from Southern California

Hello All! Very new to metal shaping, so much I want to learn, and looks like this forum may be a great resource.

Right now I'm working on a project that's giving me a first taste of shaping some sheet metal, making some wheel tubs.

I have the advantage of access to a bead roller and a shrinker/stretcher. I totally overestimated how effective the shrinker would pull the flange around and over did it the first go.

As work progresses into more surrounding sheet metal and fender modifications, I have a lot of research to do. Interested in wheeling machine techniques (maybe diy wheeling machine construction), bead rolling techniques, planishing, and maybe power hammers. But really starting from ground zero on what it means and takes to move/shrink/stretch sheet metal.

Diving in...
