Over here, we have apprenticeships to gain qualifications as a tradesman, but unfortunatly the coachwork trade is lost and the only trade close to it is Smash repair. What constitutes a trade there??? No apprenticeships??

we're back at it again. we've had some guys come thru. one guy that had potential but somehow managed to piss everyone off in the shop within the first few months. it was a wonder he made it out alive. we're a drama free shop.

Sadly Ian is right and to find someone here in OZ to teach coachwork is like trying to find rocking horse sh$t.watching dvd's is great and helpfull (as you can watch them over) but it can't compare to an experts one on one teaching .

Not alot of money floating around in this area... Or people don't know that I'm here

It's OK for now.... graduate in December from schooling.... So I can sit in a office somewhere

i can't believe all the shapers are out of state or country. nobody wants to relocate to Sunny CA?
