There's a remote called the TigButton that you can basically use like a pedal for your thumb. It's not a slider or wheel--you actually squeeze the thing, so it's easy to go full blast to start your arc and then back off as needed by modulating the pressure. The downside is that it's not exactly the most ruggedly constructed setup you've ever seen. The whole system is janky little wires and bits of circuit board, but when I finally break mine I will happily plonk down another $240 for a replacement.
