Default USPS International rates taking a huge jump

International shipping rates have been a point of discussion in one or two threads here recently. Here is an update of changes to come:

My wife was at the post office yesterday and inquired about any upcoming change in postal rates. I just received a call from USPS and I asked about the upcoming change in the small Priority Mail flat rate box that I use to ship TuckPucks everywhere. The new rates take over Jan. 27th.
The domestic rate is a small increase (about $.45),but the International rates will increase by a large percentage. International shipping has been $16.95 USD to anywhere on the planet. Cheaper to Canada and Mexico. The new rates will be $23.95USD to everywhere but Canada and Mexico which will be $19.95.

I would hope. The US postal workers would get a nice pay rise from this. Don't think it will happen.

A happy new year to you, also.
I will have to come over and pay you a visit.
I bring my chasing tools, and we will have a play.

Sorry to hear that. Now they want to charge more for losing your post!!!!

I am sorry for going on about the cost of postage. But it gives me the ****s
I, like all the people on this site. Work hard for there money. I just don't like giving it to the post office.
With the World economy being what it is. Making it harder for small business, does not seem fair to me.
