Got the I.R.S control arms finished after some serious thinking. There's not a lot of information around as to what to use and how to do it. Firstly, I made a simple former to bend the schedule 80 tube, put the fixing point dimensions onto a board, and then bent the tube to suit. The eyes were made from 33mm heavy wall tube, machined to length and then welded to the schedule 80. The rubber bushes were 27od, 16id and 38mm long. To cut them, I put them into the lathe and used a craft knife. Also got some 16mm x 12.8mm crush tubes fitted in there

I bought this '53 Oldsmobile dash from a fella in Anaheim USA back in January. I picked it up from the shipper today. I'm going to shoehorn it into the cab, but need to narrow it around 7" for it to fit

Did you have to quarantine on return?
We are not even allowed to fly to the US, or anywhere else for that matter, except your country!

I bought the dash on Ebay and it arrived in a container Marcus. It only took 6 months to get here, but I wasn't worried as I knew I didn't need it for a while.
