Default Geetings from Victoria BC Canada

Hi all, stummbled onto this site while looking for tools for my shop, probably like most people. I found several interesting posts so I decieded to join. I've been tin bashing for about 25 years on and off, sometimes for a living but mostly as a hobby. I find it sucks the fun out of it if you 'have to do it' vs. wanting to.

A little history:, I started off as a wee lad with a interest in being a Machinist but the company I worked for folded so I moved on to apprenticing as a tool and die maker for a couple years, found it interesting but when it started getting repetative I figured it was time to move on. went on to Marine repair/ Shipwright and never looked back.

My latest project: I'm currently in the midst of is a resto/mod of a 55 GMC stepside. I've pretty much reworked every pannel and am down to the last 3 (hood and front fenders) should be done soon after they come back from the media blaster. I have a few other projects waiting for my attention but they don't have the appeal of the fat fender trucks so they will have to wait.

thats about it for my intro, hope to chat with you all in the forums
