Default New guy from Ms

Hello, my name is Brad. I'm retired and just finished building a 1931 Ford hot rod. I learned quite a bit during the build about metal working, but the main lesson was the realization of how much I don't know. I was/am an aircraft mechanic and did quite a bit of sheetmetal work back in the day, which basically included panel replacement, some panel fabrication and riveting. I am familiar with some metal working tools such as sheet metal brakes, shears and the basic handtools. I recently acquired a cheapo Woodward Fab bead roller and rolled some door panels for the 31 coupe. They turned out OK for a newbee but the tool marks on the panel just prove to me that I need a lot of education on HOW to use the bead roller properly. I am very excited about following some threads and learning what I can. Once I get up the nerve, I may post something. Anyway, I'm here to learn and appreciate all the help I can get.

Brad

If you get down to the coast let me know and I'll give you a shop tour. Hopefully it will be clean by then.
