Hello Everyone from Downunder
Hi Guys & Girls,
My name is Craige Bryson, I live in the Hunter Valley, NSW Australia. For most of my 30-year working life, I have worked on vintage aircraft restoration and as a machinist. I currently own and operate Hunter CNC Routing, a small CNC machine shop. I am also currently restoring a 1933 Waco UIC cabin biplane and scratch-building a replica 1931 Gee Bee E racing airplane. Both of these aircraft have a lot of complicated sheet metal work. I was hoping to share my sheet metal progress on these projects with this forum and in turn call on advice along the way as required. I look forward to chatting with everyone soon. Kindest Regards Craige Bryson

Metal shaping equipment suppliers in Australia.
Hi Marcus, Steve
Can you guys tell me what metal shaping suppliers we have here in Australia?? I see the Hare & Forbes offerings but was wondering if we have any dedicated suppliers here for the industry? I'm looking for a 24" CP style Planishing hammer and dies, plus a decent motorised bead roller with a good selection of dies. Thanks in advance Craige

Hi Craige,
You could try metalman tools, and hand built tools. Peter Tommasini is hand built and comes on here from time to time. Great guy. https://metalmantools.com.au/shop/ http://www.handbuilt.net.au/handtools.html
