Default Hey all...

I am a newbie and I have a very general question:

What would be cheaper to fabricate? 4 pieces (shaped like pieces of pizza or one round piece?

Regardless of material, they both would be the same. I am just wondering which would be cheaper to fabricate. I have been told the more detailed the stamp the more money.

Welcome to AllMetalShaping Dickie.

We need a bit more info. Is this flat material? How much crown? Diameter?

Generally a bowl is about simplest thing there is to make. Stretch the center, shrink the edges, smooth and blend. Repeat until you've got the shape you want.

Hello Dickie and welcome to the site.

Your question would be easier to answer if you show us a picture of the shape you are after.

I have a fellow from your area coming to my class this weekend.
