Hi from Aus
Hi all,
My name's Phil - a PDR tech/trainer in Australia, stepping back into the world of collision repair to transfer techniques that have been developed in the PDR world into smash repairs and increase repairability of panels, rather than simply replacing everything. This looks like a great wealth of information to increase my own knowledge and pass along to students of all levels. Thanks for having me!

Welcome Phil,
I have thought about using PDR techniques in metalshaping and repair since I found Top Gun PDR Training on YouTube. He is a big proponent of the Fairmount system as he calls it. I think they may have originally wrote the book, the key to metal bumping.

Good one Phil. The other PDR related repairs that fascinate me are mideast based, maybe Iraq, where they repair some really crumpled up damage with slappers, hammers and Dollie’s. Pure magic!
