Default Hello Forum Members!

My name is Jim and I am located in Albemarle, NC, about 40 miles east of Charlotte. I am interested in the forum for an education in working sheet metal. I am especially interested in learning about the use of hand tools and not the big buck $$$$ machines. My interest is two fold, I would like to make autobody parts and perhaps airplane parts. I have limited experience in fabrication but am eager to learn. I am drawn to the working methods of David Gardiner and Peter Tommasini. I have taken several autobody restoration courses at the local community college.

I see that William Longyard is located near me in Winston-Salem. Hello, William! I have enjoyed the videos you posted on Youtube. I also noticed that you have several books to your credit. To bad the sheet metal one did not have a preview on Amazon. ;-)
