New to the site

Hi, My name is John, I live in the So. Calif. area just south east of Los Angeles. For years I have enjoyed spending my spare time working and building streetrods but seldom the sheet metal, mostly chassis modification, and the mechanical aspects. Recently I acquired a 49 Studebaker Starlight coupe and would like to do a few body modifications and repair rusted out areas the correct way. To me, just loading with Bondo isn't the right approach. I look forward to learning and interacting with people that I know have more experience with sheet metal than I have. Thank you, John.
