Default Hola from Paraguay!

Hi!
I have been visiting this site for months - possibly years - but never have joined. But today I thought, why not?, so that I can see the pictures and post and ask questions.
I have almost always been interested in metalworking, especially making car body parts. I remember reading about the magic of an English Wheel in a Lindsay's Technical Books catalog a long long time ago. I managed to convince my dad to buy me the one about making a metal working furnace but never got my English Wheel book, or even got my furnace working.
When I have a chance I stop into restoration shops and ask questions, some people are super helpful and a tribute to the business with their kindness and readiness to answer questions (Thanks Jeff in Oklahoma) and others not so much.
I have been practicing - left my tools and obviously stump in MN - and will keep practicing. I look forward to learning from you!
Dan
