Default new old guy

Hey,
My name is Bob Scott from St. louis Missouri.
I've been into cars most of my life and customizing is my main interest. but want to know more about metal working, in particular with hand tools. I've chopped a couple of tops (basic straight pillars) and did a little hammer welding but this was 30+ yrs ago
At 65 yrs old I'm one of those guys that is always saying "Damn! I wish I still had that (many) car".
I was out of cars for some time but receintly got back in with my son's 55 Chevy and my 87 Caprice wagon. I plan on doing a bit of metal work on the wagon and want to learn more about metal working instead of just loading it up with filler.
My other hobbies are dog training and woodworking with a bit of gardening thrown in.
My present dogs are two working bred German Shepherds. I've trained and titled dogs in search and rescue, Schutzhund, AKC obedience, Terrier trials and natural huning, herding, and just about anything to do with dog training. I also did a bit of dog showing in the bred ring when I was active with terriers.
I have a nice woodworking shop in my garage and have built many different pieces of furniture.
