Default Yet another new guy intro

Your name, where you are located, a little about yourself and why you want to be a member here.

Howdy - I'm Kent.
I live in the Bay Area (the one in California).

I've been making and building things since I was a kid. As an adult, I started doing some woodworking, and made some nice furniture. I later got into welding and metal work, and have always wanted to make nice things with sheet metal.

Recently, I took a class from Evan Wilcox because I've wanted to learn to shape sheet metal for some time. Previous to the class, I have a few hours messing around with bags, hammers, English wheel and a plannishing hammer. I knew how the equipment worked, but didn't know how to actually make anything.

I found this site while searching online to find tips for my Victor gas torch (a J28). The tips I have are the wrong size for what I was doing in Evan's class.

Looking forward to learning more, and sharing what I know.
