Default Howdy from Montana!

Howdy,

My name is Troy and I'm a retired Ironworker; the son of an Ironworker and one of my sons will soon be an Ironworker.
My father taught me how to set up & use an oxy-acetylene torch when I was eight years old.
I had a High School that had a very well equipped metal shop, lathes, milling machines. Even a foundry, we poured aluminum....Can you imagine anyone letting 16 year old kids handle 1200 degree crucible today?
I've worked on high rise buildings hanging iron, and then hanging on a swing stage setting panels & glass.
In college I took auto body and learned to stretch and how to shrink metal; figured I'll always have a car, might as well know how to work on them.
I just built on 4/01/12 a sheet metal break. I would love to show it someday.
Sincerely,
Troy
