Default oldskoolF100 intro

Howdy from Tejas! I'm a beginner metal shaper...been studying David Gardiner's methods and practicing on an old mesquite tree stump and some antique "Snap On" and "Pexto" hammers and such. I can make a bowl already and have formed a bicycle fender...no power tools or specialty tools. I simply used a hammer, bench vise, radiused chisel (from Lowe's). My leather bag is filled with "play sand" (way cheaper than shot btw).

I am learning gas welding and will continue to practice so I can make larger more complex items. Would love to own a wheel someday and play with that, but I'm having fun challenging myself and my son with the old-methods and basic hand held tools.

Looking for a '28 to '31 model a coupe or roadster to build a salt-flat racer look car. Currently drive a '94 Z28. I'm retiring from the Air Force in September. I've been a flight medic and instructor for these past 19 years.

Thanks! Rich
