Default New from TO

When I was a kid, I had a well worn copy of Peterson bodywork that included a chapter on the making of the Reactor custom car body from scratch using a wire form buck and skilled manipulation of flat sheet metal through an English wheel. Since that time I've wanted to learn more about metal work. I learned to do a little lathework on a Unimat and I've made lots of little things out of aluminum with a small band saw and a drill press for hot rod (5.0 V8 Volvo 740) and motorcycle projects (vintage racer).

I finally got an English wheel last year, and am slowly learning how to use it with the objective of making body work and a fuel tank for a cafe racer project bike.
