Default Gday

Gday all
I’m Bart from Sydney Australia.
My passion is beside my bubs and wife is cars and would love to learn metal shaping. I hope I will learn allot from here. I have the greatest respect for a good metal shaper who can shape metal into what seems impossible shapes particularly a one piece shape like a fender for example.
One of my projects which involve metal is my car. It’s a 1973 LJ Torana, most of you wouldn’t know about it as it’s an Australian built classic, only mine has a twist, it is modified. I transplanted a Nissan V8 with twin turbos. It took quite a bit of metal fab to shoe horn the motor in.
My next project will be (Hopefully) my dad’s 1963 Pontiac Laurentian which will require a new rear fender (Which is the main drive to why I’m here) I guess fortunately the fender is quite long and fairly flat with a bit of crown.
Anyhow hope my registration goes well
Thanks for reading
Bart
