Hi

I am starting the long road to getting proficient at metal shaping. After many years delay I am now piecing together the tools and machines I think I may need, having at last an ideal workshop space.

I plan to work many in aluminium. I have attended a Tig welding course and soon will be on a gas-welding course.

I plan to make sculptural metal pieces which will be heavily influenced by some of the brilliant metal shaping (for automobiles) I seen via the web and the excellent tips/advice and technique provided on such sites as this!!

At the moment I also collecting (and studying) as many relevant DVDs and books as I can lay my hands on. Hopefully some of it will stick!
