Hello from Lafayette, LA

Hello, my name is Jason and I live in Lafayette, La. I have a few old hot rods that I work on and for some reason I have this problem with never leaving stuff alone. I always have to tweak things to try and make them look different but stock. I have a small workshop with gas and mig welding, plasma cutter, drill press, bead roller and a fair collection of tools from over the years. I am looking to expand my metal working skills and that is what led to this site. I don't have any mentors or friends to help teach me things so I end up figuring things out or resorting to the internet which can be very handy sometimes.

I work out of town for extended periods of time so I am on and off when it comes to forums and internet access.

I look forward to some higher learning and expanding my metal shaping tools and equipment.
