introduction

Well seeing as we seem to be having a roll call here I guess I should throw in my two cents.
I've been lurking on the site for about six or eight months now ever since I saw the link in a copy of Hot Rod Magazine. Its the first site I visit every day probably because I learn more here than anywhere else.
I work as a machinist and do bike construction and metal sculpture in my spare time. Most of what I do has little relevance here which is why I don't post much.
I've done some sheet metal shaping in the past but its definitely not my field of expertise. I come to the site because I get a lot of tips and techniques here. I would like to improve my metal shaping and do more of it. This site has been a great resource for information.
I'm still trying to decide what tools I need to get to do good metal shaping. My shop is about the size of a large closet. I'm in a construction phase now but hope to be turning out some projects soon.
I live in Walla Walla, Washington in the great Northwest US. Don't know any metal shapers so this site is about my only source of info on the techniques used by the shaper community.
Just wanted to say this site "ROCKS". Hope it stays around for a long time. I love being able to come here and see how others are doing things. The pictures really inspire me to do more.
