Hi, my name is Tim and I am learning to do metal shaping for my retirement project car, a 1959 Hillman Minx Convertible. Hidden underneath a new paint job, before I bought it, were gallons of body filler and poorly made patches of sheet metal to fill the rust holes. I could spend a couple thousand $ to have custom repair patches made in England or I could buy the tools to make my own. I chose the latter and am attempting to learn from the pro's on here as well as from YouTube guys (many which are here) who like to share their talent. So far
I have made floor pan and trunk floor patches that replicate the originals. I am not so confident yet to make rockers and exterior body patch panels.

Thank you for letting me join the fun. Teach me.
