Default not really a metal spinner

hi, i am a machinist. currently working in an outdoor lighting company. i normally work with cnc equipment making casting molds for aluminum. recently i was given the responsibility of a denn cnc metal spinning lathe. basically making lamp shades from brass and copper. we make medium volume parts from a few dozen to maybe 500 parts at a time. i have learned to run the machine pretty well but i am not really seasoned in metal spinning. luckily our parts are basic but some are much more difficult to form. i hope to refine my technique and increase productivity with the help of this forum. thank you
