Hi, my name is Bryan McConnell I'm from the eastern end of Tennessee. I joined the forum in hopes of learning some metal shaping to help me in making a some covers and panels for my 1970 Ford Torino GT.

I worked in a production machine shop for 30 years which closed in 2010. Currently I work as IT software and hardware support for the county clerks offices in Tennessee.

My passion/hobby is my Torino. I have been working on the grille for several months. Unfortunately there are no aftermarket parts for a 70 Torino grille, if there were I probably could not afford them anyway. So what I had to do is make some clips to help hold a couple of brackets in place that had broken off.

What I'm hoping to do now is make a cover that will cover the top of the grille there by hiding my ugly little clips. Again there are no aftermarket covers for a 70 Torino like you can find for other cars of the same year.
