Default Hi to all

Hi to all here.
About 45 years ago I chanced on a book in the library on how to build a car from scratch and for some reason it just stuck with me. In the years since I've worked as a machinist of metal and wood using traditional and CNC equipment. I also worked for a number of years in specialist fabrication but never got round to learning the skills needed for true metalshaping to make the dream of building my own car come true. Due to recent health changes my employment days are over and I face a climb back to health. I've decided that learning the skills and using them to build my own car is the perfect incentive to move onward and upwards. So the learning starts here. I've ordered David Gardiners DVD and when I've developed some skills with hand work I'll invest in some machines to ease the physical demands. I'm looking forward to the challenge and value the knowledge I can get from here.
