Hello everyone, Super excited to be here!
My name is Chris and I am from Iowa. 10 yrs ago I worked in a custom Automotive shop and started learning the trade at the young age of 14. Since then I got a degree in Computer Aided Drafting/3D modeling. So if any of you use an Autodesk product feel free to hammer me with questions as I am a certified Instructor.
The main reason I am Joining is that my old boss did most of the big panel fab etc. and i did mostly the spall patches and bodywork. Well As I am getting back into the hobby i realize i won't to learn more than just simple hammer and dolly stuff as i already have experience there ( though I am receptive to tips tricks etc.)I am ready for the meat for lack of better words, the english wheel shot and hammer etc.
I am in the very beginning stages on a very custom 57 MGA and want to hand roll the roof and bonnet area, as well as add quite a bit of metal to the fenders.
After that I want to Hand fab an entire 33 Model B Body as my next project.
I have high hopes and Big Dreams so thanks for having me.
