Default New to working with metal

Hi all,

My name is Neil McLean but most people call me macca. I live in central Victoria Australia. I have joined the forum for a source of information on how to restore a car project that I have underway.

Most forums are a wealth of knowledge and I'm sure I will find this one no exception. I will be asking for advise on rust repair as I have very little experience in this field. I have repaired a few cars over time but nothing comes close to the headache I find my self with this time as this is a full restoration job and she needs a lot of work to bring her back to her glory days.

Be patient with me as I know I will be asking some pretty stupid questions at times but I am keen to learn and I'm fairly handy with my hands.

Looking forward to being part of this forum

Cheers

Neil
