New guy from MN
Hi all. Looking to learn a few tricks. I'm an amateur (at best) and would like to learn more about how things are done on a small scale without the big expensive tools.

First welcome!! I just have to say You came to the right place. You need a nice hammer and a stump..... Do a search on the stump and read up. It's the biggest bang for the buck. It also really depends what you plan on shaping.

Welcome Dustin,
Yah, Dyce is right, it doesn't take much. A stump and a few stakes and a few hammers and mallets. You can do an awful lot with what will fit into a carry around tool box, a stump with a divot in it, and an old bowling ball that can sit in the divot on occasion. |
